MIE Sustainable Energy Sdn. Bhd.
MIE Sustainable Energy Sdn. Bhd. (MIESE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hi-Essence Cable Sdn. Bhd., was established in 2021, signifying the start of our journey to produce renewable energy as an alternative to carbon-based fuels. Our factory is fully equipped with all the essential machinery and testing apparatus needed for the production of wood pellets. MIESE provides top-quality biomass products, including wood pellets and biochar.
2025
PEFC Certification
MIE Sustainable Energy Sdn. Bhd. (MIESE) wood pellets received certification under the PEFC Chain of Custody in July 2025. This certification scheme establishes specific guidelines to guarantee that sustainable practices are adhered to during the feedstock sourcing process, which is limited to certified sustainable sources, and it regulates how compliance is verified throughout all stages of the supply chain.
